The Quick Story
I’m passionate about merging different game mechanics to create unique puzzle experiences. For this concept, I aimed to blend the gameplay mechanics of Solitaire TriPeaks with the board and tile mechanics of popular match-three and blast games.

Solitaire Drop is designed around the idea of linking numbered tiles, either one higher or one lower, to form the longest possible chain. Players score points and earn crown bonuses by "BANKING" their results, adding a strategic layer to the traditional puzzle format.

To bring this concept to life, I repurposed an old match-three project I created and re-engineered its logic to develop the core gameplay and boosters. I used Photoshop to design the basic tiles and user interface elements. Additionally, I incorporated sound effects and created simple animations for key elements to establish the game’s initial “feel” and ensure an engaging player experience.
