Project
Creating Motion Graphics in Unity

Software and Tools Used

  • Unity Game Engine

  • Photoshop

  • Premiere Pro

The Quick Story
Inspired by the end credits sequence of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, I set out to replicate a similar motion graphics style using Unity, rather than the typical combination of 3D modeling tools and Adobe After Effects. With Unity already open and my familiarity with the engine, I quickly sketched a 20-second visual concept.

I defined the elements I needed to display, created the 2D assets in Photoshop, and imported them into Unity. I then animated the sequences within Unity, leveraging its tools to bring the design to life. Using Unity’s built-in Recorder package, I exported MP4 videos of each sequence and polished them in Premiere Pro by trimming, adding music, and finalizing the movie.

While the result is a bit rough around the edges, it was a valuable learning experience. The project not only demonstrated how to integrate different techniques and tools to achieve a cohesive look but also enhanced my ability to adapt and apply learned knowledge in new ways.
