My Role
UX/UI & System Design

  • Collaborated with the Product Owner and live-ops team to identify new features and functionalities needed for the updated shop.

  • Designed and prototyped updates for the in-game shop and pop-ups, coordinating with art and engineering teams to implement these changes effectively.

The Quick Story
I originally designed the store for Solitaire TriPeaks back in 2014. As the game evolved, it became clear that the existing shop couldn't keep pace with the game’s growth. Working closely with the Product Owner, we devised a strategy to enhance the shop with new functionalities, including:

  • The ability to sell and add various bundles (Coins, Wilds, Boosters) and extend the existing tooling to support these updates.

  • A system to display any currently active dynamic sales.

The project was completed in under two months, leading to an immediate, albeit modest, increase in monetization through the new bundles. Continued testing and optimization by the Live-Ops team further boosted key performance indicators as they experimented with different bundles and pricing strategies.
